Next Job ---> Divison Schneider Electric Job Title Sales Manager - Segment Services Location USA - TN - Nashville Alternate Location(s) AR - Argentina Req. # xxxx7 Job Responsibilities ***FLEXIBLE LOCATION in US*** This position is accountable for the direction and leadership of all services sales activities for key end user segments on a national basis. Defines sales strategies that will meet business goals and customer service requirements. Serves as a primary sales contact for product/segment/channel at the national level or as the manager for a national sales team. Ensures sales staff is performing optimally, and has access to productivity enhancing tools and information. Defines markets, market potentials and appropriate sales strategies for the product/segment/channel. Sets goals and objectives, develops strategies and schedules for meeting those goals and objectives, and anticipates obstacles and alternative strategies. Develops and implements a sales strategy for increasing sales and profits through national customers. Formulates, communicates, implements, and evaluates strategic and tactical sales plans. Monitors outside sales force performance. Provides coaching and development activities necessary to ensure sales force execution of the plan. Will manage a sales team of 8-10 direct reports. Works with Schneider Electric services channel business development manager to plan sales strategies, provide quality service, train distributor personnel, and provide support necessary for attainment of distributor goals and objectives Assists Marketing in offer development and program execution. Partners/deals with customers and within the company at high levels. BS degree preferred along with 10 years progressive sales/sales management experience. Ability to work when provided with general work direction. Must be able to command the respect of internal team members as well as matrix associates.
