Job Minimum Requirements
2+ years of tire automotive service experience preferably from an automotive retail tire service environment
Valid driver’s license and able to meet Dealer Tire’s Motor Vehicle Record Policy
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
Proficient computer skills including: MS Word, MS Excel
Quick learner
Preferred Requirements
Online order management systems
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
About the Job
As a Tire Sales Specialist, you will work as a tire expert inside a premium dealership in ___________ [ location]. Your responsibilities would include:
Selling/assisting with the sale of tires to customers on the service drive with the goal of exceeding assigned sales and productivity goals
Inspecting customers’ cars on the service lane.
Diagnosing tire-related problems, recommending service and quoting prices
Assuring necessary repairs are completed as ordered and priced as quoted.
Maintaining effective relationships including customers and dealer personnel.
Overseeing customer satisfaction and complaints and solving problems that arise.
Completing market analysis monthly.
Assisting in store operations: maintaining inventory, opening/closing the store and preparing reports
Assisting dealership technicians to ensure service levels are met.
To fast track your success, you will participate in a comprehensive training program provided by Dealer Tire University.
