ReadyPoint Systems is seeking an experienced Java Developer for a full time position to assist in building our suite of software as a service products. Under the direction of the Director of Product Development, the developer will be responsible for developing the applications and related tools, making recommendations on platform architecture and functionality implementation, and working with the quality assurance team to ensure high quality software is released to our customers.
Required Experience:
Strong written and oral communication skills
Minimum of 3 years in a developer capacity on a team
Excellent problem:solving and analytical skills and be able to translate business and technical requirements into workable technical solutions
Strong knowledge of web database applications, and analytical programming techniques
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and integrating web applications with SQL database systems
Strong working knowledge of MVC software architecture
Solid working knowledge/experience with Hibernate
Demonstrated experience with version control, specifically Git.
Strongly Desired Additional Skill Sets:
Experience working with SQL query creation and tuning; data modeling (Postgresql)
Experience with Dojo
Experience in developing web services
Experience with implementing UI design and layout
Healthcare or pharmaceutical experience including a knowledge of HIPAA
Strong UNIX knowledge, including shell scripting
Experience with Eclipse, Jira and/or Confluence
