Job Description
Summary
Blue Chip Consulting Group’s Messaging and Unified Communication team plays a critical role in establishing Blue Chip as a strategic, trusted business advisor to its clients. Through high-value service offerings, we create a positive experience consistent with Blue Chip's mission of delivering creative, flexible and innovative solutions.
Technical Experience:
Messaging migrations involving various platforms (Lotus Notes, Groupwise, Exchange xxxx+, Google Apps, etc.)
Extensive experience with the Microsoft Exchange platform in large, complex corporate environments
Working knowledge of current message hygiene solutions (cloud based and on premises)
Experience working with all the technical components required in an Office 365 deployment
High-level understanding of firewall configurations and able to articulate changes required to support large, complex messaging environments
Experience deploying Lync on premises, Lync Online and Lync hybrid solutions
Various messaging migration tools (e.g. Quest / Dell, BinaryTree, MigrationWhiz)
Experience with server virtualization and configuration considerations for different workloads
Understanding of how to implement highly available messaging solutions and disaster recovery considerations
Current Windows Server platform features and configuration considerations
Extensive Active Directory experience in complex networks
Common methods used to securely publish internal messaging services to external users
Network traffic load balancing technologies and appropriate uses of different technologies
Mobile device platforms and management considerations
Strong understanding of Powershell, VBScript and other automation technologies
Consulting Skills:
Participate in pre-sales activities via white board session, requirements definition, client presentations, authoring statements of work
Exceptional communication skills - verbal and written
Ability to architect technical solutions to solve business problems
Project management / project leadership from both a technical and personnel perspective
Ability to act as technical project lead and customer facing contact for all project related activities
Capable of analyzing complex problems to expedite resolution
Ability to apply project management concepts to popular project management methodologies
