Deloitte Services LP includes internal support areas such as Marketing and Communications, Human Resources/Talent, Information Technology, Facilities Management, and Financial Support Services.
Primary Duties:
o Ensure business needs are clearly understood and SAPimplementation meets the needs and expectations of the Finance business groupssuch as the Financial Services Group, Expense Compliance, Payroll and other ITS/Businessteams.
o Work with Business System Analysts, Solution Architects andEngagement Manager to develop understanding of scope and feasibility of solutionsto leverage SAP based Financial solutions.
o Assist Engagement manager in overseeing product planning,delivery, release management, and deployment to ensure technology standards andbusiness needs are met.
o Responsible for product quality, project timeliness, andcustomer satisfaction.
o Seek ways to increase efficiencies of applications. Integratethe business strategy and knowledge of software capabilities (current andfuture) to recommend and implement enhancements for Finance channel products.
o Ensure all products support business processes and have theappropriate support and maintenance processes in place. Evaluate and proposesimple solutions to complex problems through creativity and innovation.
o Lead from the front on innovation, propose and help implementnew functionality aligned with emerging technologies in Finance Solutions.
o Partnerwith engagement manager and project team to design, develop, and supportEnterprise wide finance solutions.
o Develop/Configure and review project deliverables forcompleteness of thought and consistency of approach. Ensure standards,procedures, and methodologies in the delivery life cycle are followed.
o Communicatedevelopment and production status and issues to management and stakeholders.
o Analyzebusiness and functional requirements which have an impact on businessapplications. Coordinate with architecture and development teams to ensure thatall solutions are aligned to pre-defined architecture/design.
o Coordinatewith BSAs and Quality Engineering teams to ensure proper testing is performed.
o Activelycollaborate with project delivery teams on implementation activities andinstill a mindset of continuous learning and process improvement.
o Coach/guideoffshore/offsite project team resources.
PrimaryQualifications:
o Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educationalor professional experience and/or qualifications relating to Finance andAccounting.
o Minimumof eight (8) years of in-depth experience in SDLC, solutions design, anddelivery of enterprise level solutions is required. Experience in full life-cycle developmentmethodologies, Agile project delivery is preferred.
o Minimumof five (5) years of development/configuration in SAP areas such as Finance& Accounting, Sales & Distribution, and Project Systems isrequired. Good knowledge on SAP AccountsPayable and Procurement module is preferred.
o Experiencewith Ariba, and its interface is preferred.
o Experienceworking with business application owners and development teams to document andclarify business and user requirements and manage scope of defined features andfunctions during project lifecycle.
o Provenexpertise in managing the delivery of mid-to-large web/enterprise applications needed.
o Abilityto adjust communications to both technical and non-technical audiences.
o Musthave strong analytical abilities and presentation skills.
o Experiencein implementing quality guidelines, standards and procedures.
o Experiencein working with ITIL standards for production support.
o Experienceworking directly with clients and providing consultation.
o Strongwritten and verbal communication skills.
o Experiencein dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams, and ability tocoordinate across teams in a large matrix organization environment.
Preferred:
o Knowledgeof SAP Treasury, Asset Accounting, Xponential.
o ERPfunctional or technical interface experience (IDoc, RFC, BAPI, etc.).
o Understandingof data Warehousing, BI, and Master Data Management.
o Knowledgeof electronic commerce based applications, EDI, B2B architectures.
o Exposureto planning, budgeting and forecasting applications.
o Experiencein Agile, Scrum software development methodologies.
